Your Second Visit

Dr. Fisher giving a report of findings.

On the second visit you will sit down with Dr. Fisher and discuss the findings of your examination and x-rays, and begin care.

If Dr Fisher has determined that yours is a chiropractic case, he will discuss the care plan that is best for you and your particular needs. If yours is not a chiropractic case you will be referred to the appropriate health care provider.  It is our policy not to accept anyone that we feel cannot benefit from our care.

It is important that all of your questions are answered and that you have a thorough understanding of your condition and your care plan.  Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits with each one building on the one before it is important that our relationship can stand go the distance.  Therefore, we will take the time to answer all of your questions, and explain everything in advance.  No surprises. This second visit is much shorter than the first.

In most cases we will begin care on the second visit. This two visit procedure accomplishes several things:

  • Reduce length of the fist visit
  • Gives us time to study your finding and correlate them to your condition
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain cases, and in the professional judgement of Dr. Fisher, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Typically a patient can anticipate that the visit will take approximately 25 min.

How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story.
